1. Instruction in basic skills necessary to master the classroom assignments and perform well on tests and quizzes.
2. Homework assistance.
3. Study skills and strategies to include time management, organization, note and test taking skills, reading comprehension strategies and critical thinking patterns.

We offer one-on-one tutoring (one teacher, one student) in our offices, in home or at the student's school. We do not give additional homework but work with the student's classroom texts and assignments to increase school performance and strengthen the underlying skills needed for mastery.

Our staff is highly skilled. They are either licensed and certified teachers or have advanced degrees and a large amount of teaching/tutoring experience. Once a tutor accepts an assignment, she/he remains with the student for a minimum of six weeks and forms a good mentoring relationship. We see students at least twice a week. Each session is one hour long.

Diagnostic testing is available upon request. The cost varies depending on the test administered.

Each tutoring relationship begins with a free consultation. During this time we (the student, the parents, and I) establish academic goals, identify the learning style of the student, match needs with the appropriate tutor, and establish a convenient family-friendly schedule.
